Weekend skiing under the Moonlight!!!

We hope there will be a heavy snowstorm soon, this way we won't have to delay our scheduled Meetup again!

RSVP will be opened as soon as weather conditions could ensure there will be snow enough to make this event.

Guess how are we going to launch the snow season 2014/15 As could not be otherwise, we expect to launch it enjoying the breathtaking experience that we like the most: Skiing under the MOONLIGHT!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!

Hi guys:

Once we have closed the snow season 2013/14 and we are already thinking about the next snow season 2014/15.

We hope to be able to start next season with our flagship event!!! Skiing under the MOONLIGHT!!! This will depend on the amount of snow that the Pyrenees collect at the beginning of December 2014. So we wish it will be snowing a lot by the end of November.

This document is only a draft. You will have all details about it one month before the date scheduled for this event.

11:00 Welcome to Masella. Delivery of forfaits (Masella Ski Resort).

12:00 Start skiing / Snowboarding at Masella

16:00 Meeting point to depart together to the “Niu de l’Àguila” mountain refuge (2.537 metres high).

17:00 Afternoon snack at “Niu de l’Àguila”.

18:00 We’ll go outside the mountain refuge to enjoy sunset.

20:00 Dinner

22:00 Ski down under the moonlight

23:00 Go to the hotel

Note: We'll keep you update about the meeting point location and further details regarding this Meet up.

Requirements:

To make this "Meetup" is mandatory to have a medium or higher skiing / snowboarding level.

People should bring its own ski / snowboard equipment. If you don't have your own equipment, there are some places to rent the equipment at Masella Ski Resort.

Advice:

We suggest bringing a good camera.

Comfortable shoes to stay at the mountain refuge, so you would be able to take off the ski boots when we get there.

Frontal light (Those who have already got it). It is advisable in case of fog when we ski down.

We strongly suggest you to contract an optional ski accident insurance (at Masella Ski Resort) 3 € per day.

Responsibility:

The ski down under the moonlight is an activity that we will do when the sky resort is closed. So, there is no way to get an insurance cover for this activity. It is mandatory to be cautious and follow the guidelines established by the organization.

Trip Includes:

Saturday 1/2 day pass all mountain lift tickets at Masella Ski resort.

1 Afternoon snack at “Niu de l’Àguila” mountain refuge.

1 Dinner at “Niu de l’Àguila” mountain refuge.

1 Night accommodation in a 3-star hotel (Rooms double beds).

1 Breakfast (Hotel)

Sunday 1 full day pass all mountain lift tickets at Masella Ski Resort.

Individual room will be available at additional cost. (If you are interested just ask the organizing team).

Not include:

Transport is not included with price. However, we are willing to coordinate the travel from Barcelona to the ski resort by private cars. So if you got a car and you want help us taking people from Barcelona to the ski resort, please let us know ASAP. We recommend establishing a price of 90 euros per car that should be share for its occupants. Please note you will be asked to pay directly to the driver.

Important notes:

Notice that organization team may cancel the mountain refuge visit and the ski down under the moonlight due to adverse weather conditions. The most significant issue for us is to ensure the security of the team members. So, in case of bad weather we are going to change this activity for another one at the Ski resort.

Estamos trabajando para la próxima temporada: en función de las condiciones del tiempo y de la nieve que encontremos en el mes de Diciembre tenemos previsto empezar la nueva temporada con este evento, esquiada de fin de semana bajo la luz de la Luna. Encontrareis más instrucciones y toda la información necesaria a continuación:

11:00 Bienvenida a Masella. Entrega entrega de forfaits ( Masella Ski Resort) .

12:00 Comienzo de la jornada de esquí / snowboard en Masella.

16:00 Punto de encuentro para salir juntos a la " Niu de l' Àguila " refugio de montaña ( 2.537 metros de altura) .

17:00 Merienda en " Niu de l' Àguila " a base de pan con tomate y embutidos.

18:00 saldremos al exterior del refugio de montaña para disfrutar de la puesta del Sol .

20:00 Cena.

22:00 Esquiamos bajo la luz de la Luna

23:00 Partimos hacia el hotel.

16:00 Fin del fin de semana " Meetup "

Nota: Os mantendremos informados sobre la ubicación del punto de reunión y más detalles con respecto a este Meetup.

Requisitos:

Para apuntarse a este " Meetup " es obligatorio disponer de un nivel de esquí / snowboard medio o medio alto.

Las personas deben traer su propio equipo de esquí / snowboard. Si no dispones de equipo propio , hay algunos lugares para alquilar el equipo en Masella Ski Resort.

Consejos:

Os sugerimos llevar una cámara de fotos.

Calzado cómodo para permanecer en el refugio de montaña, que os permitirá quitaros las botas de esquí cuando lleguemos al refugio de montaña.

Luz frontal (Aquellos que ya dispongan de ella). Es recomendable en caso de niebla, cuando bajemos esquiando por la noche.

Os sugerimos encarecidamente que se suscriba un seguro de accidentes de esquí opcional (en Masella Ski Resort: 3 €/día ).

Responsabilidad:

El esquí bajo la luz de la Luna es una actividad que vamos a realizar cuando la estación de Masella esté completamente cerrada. Por lo tanto, no hay posibilidad de obtener una cobertura de seguro para esta actividad. Es obligatorio tener cuidado, no realizar imprudencias y seguir las pautas establecidas por la organización.

El viaje incluye:

Sábado

1 Forfait de 1/2 día en la estación de Masella Ski Resort.

1 Merienda en " Niu de l' Àguila " refugio de montaña.

1 Cena en " Niu de l' Àguila " refugio de montaña.

1 Noche de alojamiento en un hotel de 3 estrellas (Habitaciones dobles) .

1 Desayuno (Hotel)

Domingo

1 forfait de 1 día en la estación de Masella Ski Resort.

Si deseas una habitación individual la encontrarás disponible con un suplemento (Si estáis interesad@s debéis poneros en contacto con el equipo organizador).

No incluye:

El transporte no está incluido en el precio. Sin embargo, estamos dispuestos a coordinar el viaje de Barcelona a la estación de esquí de los vehículos privados. Así que si tienes un coche y quieres ayudarnos a sacar a la gente de Barcelona hacia La estación de esquí, por favor háznoslo saber lo antes posible. Recomendamos el establecimiento de un precio de 90 € por vehículo como cuota para sus ocupantes. Tener en cuenta, que se os pedirá que lo paguéis directamente al conductor.

Nota importantes:

Tener en cuenta que el equipo organizador puede cancelar la visita al refugio de montaña y el esquí bajo la luz de la Luna por condiciones meteorológicas adversas. Para nosotros lo más importante es garantizar la seguridad de los miembros del equipo. Así que, en caso de mal tiempo sustituiremos esta actividad por otra de similar en el complejo de esquí.
