We would like to invite you to the II Conference of R and XIII Workshop for R Users. It is aimed at anyone who uses or has an interest in R. It is open to people from all branches of knowledge and technology: social sciences (such as data journalism, politics, sociology or economics), bioinformatics, computational, earth sciences, health sciences, data analysis, ecology, marine sciences and many others.
We have invited speakers from wide backgrounds:

Martin Gonzalez: (Graphics editor at The New York Times) Formerly, The Economist, El Diario, El Español, Populate
Heather Turner: (R Foundation member) Consultant, expert in statistical modeling and associate professor at the University of Warwick.
Maëlle Salmon: (Research software engineer at rOpenSci andCynka): Freelancer, expert in R package development.
**Kiko Llaneras: (**Data journalist at El País) author of 'Piensa Claro', PhD in engineering.

15th: Special event at the BSC with data journalists
16-17th: Talks, workshops and posters
If you want to present a workshop, a talk or a poster, send your abstract! We welcome all levels and all topics with R!
