English & Hiking on the shores of the Cávado River

On the trail of Our Lady of Consolação to the shores of the Cávado” is a trail classified as short distance footpath, with about 13,5 KM, circular type and low difficulty, characterized by the variety of points of natural interest, namely landscape and ornithology, linked to the River Cávado, but also to religious and heritage distinctive features.

This trail runs through the territories of the parishes of Fornelos, Gilmonde and Vila Seca, exploring the south bank of the River Cávado.

PLEASE: bring proper gear to hike, enough water and snacks.

The event is dog friendly.
