FREE SCREENWRITING WORKSHOP: LOGLINE LAPS

Details
One of the first things that I learned, ala much pain and suffering, was the value of loglines (one or two sentence snapshots of your movie idea). Not just for pitching your movie, but knowing WHAT your movie is really about and what makes it compelling.
Come join us, as we’ll kick the tires on your loglines and revise them OR create them from scratch, the goal is hopefully to have you leave with a decent logline in hand. This will be a small group workshop, 5 attendees total. Zoom link will be posted after enrollment is complete.
SIDE NOTE: One of the most common questions I get, anytime there's a discussion of one's movie ideas/loglines, is whether said ideas/loglines will be stolen and used by some conniving lurker in the shadows.
The honest truth, or at least the general truth, is that execution is still a thing and so is parallel development, which is to say that there might be 157 people out there in the world, with the same exact idea, or similar enough to make you think that it was indeed stolen... but that's very rarely the case. Still, this is more about learning how to craft solid loglines, so if you're indeed nervous about it, just come up with a few other ideas as well, and we can work on those instead.
