Harrison Bay Star Party

Please join us at the Rec Hall parking area for an evening of astronomical observations with visual telescopes, Electronically-Assisted scopes and monitors, and just looking up with our eyes!

Basic information for the May 11, 2024 Harrison Bay Star Party:

• Sunset: 8:35 pm
• Moon: 11% waxing crescent. Pretty!
• Set-Up: 7:00-8:00 pm
• Guest Arrival: 8:00 pm
• Deep Sky: Galaxy Season. Plenty of open clusters and other spring goodies!
• Planets: Not much. Jupiter is setting and probably won't be visible after dusk. Might get it before sunset.
• The nature of these events means they are weather-dependent. Updates posted between 1:00 and 2:00 pm.
