Come join the BAS for our monthly Star Party at Harrison Bay State Park on Saturday, March 14. We will be setting up in the Recreation Hall parking lot. We will have a variety of telescopes and observing opportunities. It may be chilly, but there are a LOT of exciting things to observe!

Remember - there is no charge for BAS Star parties and no fees at Harrison Bay!

Basic information for the March 14, 2026, Harrison Bay Star Party:

Sunset: 7:47 pm
Moon: Waning Crescent 25% - No moon tonight
Set-Up: 6:30 - 7:00 pm
Guest Arrival: 7:30 pm
Deep Sky Targets: Galaxy Season! Lots of nice galaxies and star clusters. Orion still putting on a show.
Planets: Jupiter

Please understand that these events are entirely at the mercy of the weather, over which we have little control. We will post updates on Saturday afternoon with information and whether or not we may have to cancel, so be sure to check back after 2:00 pm.
