Come join the BAS for our monthly Star Party at Harrison Bay State Park on Saturday, June 13. We will be setting up in the Recreation Hall parking lot. We will have a variety of telescopes and observing opportunities. There will be a LOT of exciting things to observe!

Remember - there is no charge for BAS star parties and no fees at Harrison Bay!

Basic information for the June 13, 2026, Harrison Bay Star Party:

Sunset: 8:56 pm
Moon: Waning Crescent 6% - no moon tonight!
Set-Up: 8:00 - 9:00 pm
Guest Arrival: 9:00 pm
Deep Sky Targets: Wrapping up Galaxy Season; start of summer deep-sky goodies
Planets: Venus and Jupiter, but they are setting fast!

Please understand that these events are entirely at the mercy of the weather, over which we have little control. We will post updates on Saturday afternoon with information and whether or not we may have to cancel, so be sure to check back after 2:00 pm on event day.
