Details
Wann: Donnerstag, 24. Oktober 2024 ab 17 Uhr
Ort: bei Lambda IT in der Digital Factory im Liebefeld
Nico Martin
From ML to LLM: on-device AI in the browser
AI is the next big thing. Machine learning models are interpreting the world and generative AI is taking over more and more of our tasks. And this makes us increasingly dependent on the big AI providers. What if we could use all this magic directly on our devices? Maybe even directly in the web platform, the largest platform for applications that has ever existed? With WebAssembly and WebGPU, we have the tools to make all this possible. It's time to get ready for some unexpected examples of how to use AI in the browser!
Nico Martin is a Frontend Developer at Aity AG and is actively involved in the tech community. Besides speaking at numerous conferences and local meetups, he is also part of the Google Developer Expert program for web technologies and also AI/ML
Stefano Mavilio
Lightweight Machine Learning by Leveraging Existing Models
Machine learning often requires extensive computational resources. By leveraging existing models, lightweight data can be generated to train new models, leading to improved performance without driving up Nvidia stock prices to the moon.
Stefano Mavilio is a passionate Software Engineer at Schaltstelle GmbH. He's on a journey towards becoming a Google Developer Expert. Additionally, he enjoys sharing his knowledge by giving classes and workshops.
