Wisconsin Supreme Court Election

On April 4 an important Wisconsin supreme court election will be held. This election pits a liberal candidate, Janet Protasiewicz, against her conservative rival, Daniel Kelly. This race will likely determine the outcome of several important cases that are likely to reach the supreme court in the next few years, including whether the state legislature will be allowed to engage in partisan gerrymandering, whether abortion access will be legal in Wisconsin, and whether state funding can be funneled to religious schools, among others.
