Discussion of Local Barter Systems and Organizations in Victoria

Meeting at 230 Cook St. Victoria, BC V8V 3X3.

There will be a discussion of the various local barter systems here in the Victoria area, particularly LETS, the Local Exchange Trading System (see www.LETS.victoria.bc.ca) and the Tetla Economy (see www.tetla.org). Anyone who has experience with any of the other systems is invited to tell us about it. I know there is at least one person in this group who is a member of another system.

We will also be discussing the possibility of holding a barter auction at the next meeting.

Anyone who has something they want to trade or something they would like to obtain via trade, will be given an opportunity to announce this to the group. We're not just into talking about barter. This group is also for doing barter.
