Effect-ts for production-grade TypeScript and composable architecture - Arne Jenssen
TypeScript/JavaScript is still missing a standard library. Effect-ts is filling this gap by providing a solid foundation of data structures, utilities, and abstractions to make building applications easier.
We will start with the basics of Effect-ts and see how to do error handling, dependency management and schemas.
Then we dive into composability, and how to build programs from building blocks.
In the second part we will explore composable architecture with Effect-ts and functional programming.
Effect-ts is most often used on the backend, but works great on the frontend as well.
This talk is targeted at js/ts developers, but it all people who are mildly interested in software and/or architecture may find it interesting.
