The great Dirigo Team of Dirigo Maine Will be taking on the Knickerbockers as we all play with the spirit and gusto of base ball as it was in the early 19th century.

Doc Adams hand wrote the Laws of Base Ball in 1857 and was president of the Knickerbocker Club for many years and even invented the Short Stop position along with setting the base paths and hand making the balls at the time . Come and learn about the foundations of the game and the people who played it and developed it !
