We're returning to Fetch again this month to learn about React again this month! Based on feedback from our survey, we're sticking to Fridays (sorry for those that can't make it, but we'll try to continue recording/posting talks) and we'll limit the talking to a single speaker. This month we'll hear from Martin Castre about using React with Elasticsearch via Searchkit.

Searchkit is a collection of React components that talk directly to your Elasticsearch cluster. It makes getting valuable, real-time insights from your Elasticsearch data incredibly easy. We will go over how to hook up to your existing Elasticsearch cluster and use Searchkit to quickly build a clean interface into your data via familiar React paradigms.

Martín Castre and is a UI/UX engineer at Influence Health. As a designer turned developer, his passions arise from crafting beautiful UI designs and building them out using a variety of front-end technologies such as Angular and React. He's married to Jennifer and have 2 crazy kids. He spends most of his free time playing video games or scale model building. When forced to go outside, you can probably find him playing soccer.

Thanks a ton to our hosts (Fetch - https://www.getfetched.com) and our lunch sponsor (VBI - https://www.vbi.net) for being an integral part of Birmingham's developer community! Be sure to check them out.
