A friendly community to meet new people and build real friendships in Basel. (No dating).
What we do
We host relaxed meetups where locals and newcomers can connect through conversation, games, and shared activities. Meetings take place in cozy studios, community rooms, parks, or cafés, always in a friendly, low‑pressure atmosphere.
What Basel Circle © is not about: Our meetups are not about dating. We want everyone to feel comfortable. Basel Circle is about friendship and genuine conversation. Not romantic expectations.
How it works
Each meetup is different: icebreakers, group games, creative activities, or just talking over coffee. You can join in German or English, whatever is easiest.
Why join?
Because making new connections in Basel isn’t always simple. Basel Circle makes it (hopefully!) easier. Come alone or with a friend, bring your authentic self, and enjoy genuine encounters that may grow into lasting friendships.
Tips for joining
We’re a new, small group in Basel and every RSVP counts. Come as you are, our space is personal, with room for ten. Friendship starts with showing up and openness. Join us, be part of it, and help shape this community.

A community for people who love techno, where you can meet others during the day, become real friends, and end up raving together 🪩What we do
We host relaxed meetups where locals and newcomers who love techno can connect through conversation, games, and shared activities. We meet up during the day first: frisbee, flow arts 🎪, a swim in the Rhine, ping pong, cooking, a hike, whatever it is, before heading out together. Once there's an actual base of trust, we go to day raves, house parties, and good acts in the region.What Techno Circle © is not about
This is not about finding a plus one for one night out, and it's not dating either. It's about building a crew you genuinely like sober, not just under strobe lights.This event
This is the first ever Techno Circle © meetup in Basel. We're meeting on Kraftwerk Insel (https://maps.app.goo.gl/JHm2SKpPE8EdnZDE6), on the big lawn in front of the beautiful Café La Strada. Plenty of space, and we won't be in anyone's way.
Expect a relaxed and fun evening: games, snacks, good company, and good music.What to bring
- A speaker or DJ gear, if you have
- Your favorite park game (Kubb, frisbee, volleyball, poi, juggling, whatever you've got)
- Swim shorts/ bikini, in case anyone wants to jump in the Rhine
- Picnic or food you would like to share
- Your own bowl and cutlery
- A picnic blanket, if you have one
- Your favorite drinks to beat the heat
- Anything else you think could be fun
