Basel Circle ©
A friendly community to meet new people and build real friendships in Basel.
What we do We host relaxed meetups where locals and newcomers can connect through conversation, games, and shared activities. Always in a friendly, low-pressure atmosphere.
This time We're going Rheinschwimmen together. We'll meet at the entry point by the Tinguely Museum and swim down to just before the Dreirosenbrücke. Once we're out, we'll sit together for snacks or drinks. Anyone who wants to can walk back together afterwards.
Meeting point: Tinguely Museum, Rhein entry point, downstairs in front of Restaurant Chez Jeannot (https://maps.app.goo.gl/RKnm4N6eovaYktCUA)
What to bring:
- a Wickelfisch or dry bag to keep your things dry while swimming,
- a towel,
- (snacks)
If it's your first time Rheinschwimmen, no worries, we'll explain everything and you can just follow along with the group.
Swimming in the Rhine isn't dangerous but a lot of fun, but it's important that you know how to swim; this isn't a supervised group, and we cannot bear liability for others.
Tips for joining We're a small, growing group and every RSVP counts. Join us, be part of it, and help shape this community.
Free to attend. You can join the WhatsApp group (https://chat.whatsapp.com/G0GUk1YgYFn7j4vteMMBmj?mode=ems_copy_c) via our website (https://Basel.ju.mp)
We are looking forward to meeting you!
