Improv Theatre at Sudhaus at Culture Circle ©

Join the Culture Circle © for a relaxed evening of improvisational theatre at Sudhaus Basel.

Basel Circle ©
A friendly community to meet new people and build real friendships in Basel.
This event is hosted by Cornelius & Merit who are looking forward to an evening of spontaneous stories and shared laughter with you.

What we do
We host relaxed meetups where locals and newcomers connect through conversation, games, and shared activities. Always low pressure, non-profit. In the Culture Circle © we explore art, theatre and culture in Basel together.

This event
We meet on Tuesday, 6 October 2026 at 19:15 outside the Warteck building at Burgweg 7, in front of the entrance to Sudhaus (https://maps.app.goo.gl/dSeq4oJB7c6y8hXn9). Once everyone has arrived, we go in together when doors open at 19:30.
We can not wait for you, if you are running late, due to limited seats at Sudhaus. The show starts at 20:00.

IMPROLAB presents a double show night. In Kopfkino, the improvisers create comedy and drama live on stage, based on input from the audience. In Blockbuster, directors compete for the story of the evening. The films are improvised in front of us, and the audience votes stories out until only one is left.

What to bring
• Your ticket, ideally bought in advance
• An official ID, which is required at the entrance
• A small random object, if you like. The Kopfkino players invite the audience to bring one, and it might end up in a story
• Curiosity and an open mind to meet new people

Good to know

• Everyone buys their own ticket. Presale tickets cost CHF 20 (CHF 21.60 online including service fee), tickets at the door cost CHF 25.
• The show is announced in German, so expect most of the evening to be in German. Coordination on the day happens in our WhatsApp group.
• Tickets Sudhaus (https://tickets.sudhaus.ch/events/improlab-kopfkino-blockbuster)
• Location Sudhaus Basel, Burgweg 7, 4058 Basel
