Weekend Horseback Ride in France (advanced riders)

While a bit far from Basel (4+ hours) this weekend ride for advanced riders, starts in the middle of the beautiful Massif des Bauges region of France, an hour south of Geneva. Your local guide will match you with your horse and then you head out into the beautiful park with interesting rock formations. After some nice canters you will have your picnic lunch in a clearing with nice views. You stay Saturday night in a hotel in the town of Feclaz, with pool if your interested in a dip after riding. The second day will be bring more canters through the region before returning to the stables in the late afternoon. Average 5 hours and 25 km per day. Option to arrive the night before.

240 euros, option to arrive the night before, or be picked up at a nearby train station for supplement. Note, you MUST be an advanced rider, totally comfortable with canters/gallops or dont even think of coming. All riders must have accident insurance and are responsible for themselves. Ride is not cancelled due to weather
