I’m Philipp, 33, and I’ve been sailing for 27 years—so yes, I learned knots before tying my shoes.

This group is for sailors, future captains, and anyone who’s ever looked at a boat and thought, “That looks like more fun than staying on shore.”
Our goal is simple: build a great community around sailing, bring together current and future captains, share knowledge, make friends, and spend more time on the water.

How it works

Step 1: Come to a group event
Meet the crew, enjoy some time by co-skippers and mateys and we’ll figure out your sailing experience, what you’d like to learn, and what kind of adventures you’re looking for.

Step 2: Join the WhatsApp crew
After that, you’ll be invited to our WhatsApp group where members organize sailing outings on Lake Neuchâtel, find crew, share opportunities, and jump aboard spontaneous adventures.

Why the process? Because a boat is more fun when everyone is on the same page. It helps us match people with the right trips, learning opportunities, and crew—so everyone gets the most out of their time on the water.

Whether you’re a seasoned sailor, working toward becoming a captain, or simply curious about sailing, come aboard. The wind doesn’t care about your résumé, and neither do we. 😉
