What we’re about
Ever find yourself stuck in the same frustrating conversations? Where you're trying to help but somehow make things worse? Or you walk away from disagreements feeling misunderstood and disconnected?
You're not alone. I used to think my engineering training would help me figure out relationships—turns out humans aren't problems to solve. After years of well-intentioned miscommunications, I stumbled upon something that shifted everything: Nonviolent Communication.
What captivated me wasn't another communication technique, but a way of being with others that felt both honest and kind. A path toward understanding what's really alive in someone when they're upset, frustrated, or withdrawn.
We'll explore together:
What happens when we listen for the longing beneath someone's anger or criticism
How our own needs can become a compass for authentic expression
The surprising possibility that conflict might actually deepen connection
Ways to stay present with ourselves and others when conversations get difficult
This is the first evening of a 7-week course, and you can drop in to try it out with no commitment. Three hours of hands-on practice where you'll be able to work on your own situations and et new perspective and insights.
