Basic Income Australia members are invited to take part in this policy-focused meeting.

This meeting will focus on BIA’s proposed phase-in approach to implementing a Universal Basic Income. The discussion will explore the advantages and possible pitfalls of introducing a UBI gradually, rather than implementing the full model immediately.
Participants will consider questions such as how a phased approach might affect universality, simplicity, political feasibility, and public understanding, and whether it strengthens or weakens the overall policy design.
