Hike Wittnau to Aarau

We meet either at Basel SBB, track 5 to take the 08:37 train to Frick, from there the 09:05 Bus 136 to Wittnau, Mitteldorf, where we should arrive at 09:12.

Starting at Wittnau, the 19 km hike first few km goes through open country, then is mostly in the forests. Its about 900 meters up, 900 meters down.

About halfway, we can stop at Salhöhe, a Restaurant with an extensive menu or picnic nearby. Then we follow the crete to Wasserflue from where we decend to Aarau, where we can visit the old city.
