Roman festival Augusta Raurica

For two days, Augusta Raurica is taken over by the Romans. What have the Romans ever done for us? Lets find out.

Tickets cost 18.00 per day and can be bought online or on site. There is a ticket for the same price that includes public transport. The ticket also includes the visit to the museum, which during the normal season costs 8.00.

There are about two dozen events per day. Many for children. Mostly in German. Enough places to get some food and drinks.

I am not yet sure, if I will go. As I already got plans for Saturday, I am only free on Sunday. I've gone many times, for me, the most exciting thing is to talk with the people, the vendors and actors as well as the archeologists.
