Hike Herznach - Wittnau

Thursday seems to be the best day for a hike this week.

Lets take the 09:36 train from Basel SBB, track 18, to Frick, switch to the 10:21 Bus 135 to Herznach Post, where we should arrive at 10:31.

We walk west, through open fields, through Wölflinswil and north to Wittnau from where we return home.

I have chosen this hike due to the sunny weather and that this hike is mostly through open fields, not forests.

It is an easy hike, 10 km, 330 up and about the same down. About three hours, no hiking sticks needed. No restaurant available, afaik. Due to the cold weather, no long breaks.

Have only done the last few km of the hike.
