## About the Program
Aktiv! im Winter is a free outdoor fitness initiative that keeps you moving all year round. Don't let the winter weather stop you from staying fit and healthy! Our program runs from September through May, offering you the unique opportunity to experience the beautiful autumn colors, invigorating winter training sessions, and the awakening of spring - all while getting an excellent workout in the fresh air.
Regular outdoor exercise during the colder months provides incredible benefits for both your immune system and mental wellbeing. Join our welcoming community and discover why training outdoors in winter creates such a special and motivating atmosphere.
## Class Locations & Schedule
### Schützenmattpark Basel - Gymnastics
When: Every Tuesday, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Duration: September 9, 2025 - May 5, 2026
What to expect: A dynamic and varied workout focusing on strength, endurance, and coordination, all set to energizing music. This comprehensive training session is designed to keep you fit and motivated throughout the winter months.
### Wenkenpark Riehen (at "Ross") - Fit in the Park
When: Every Tuesday, 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Duration: September 9, 2025 - March 17, 2026
What to expect: Train under the open sky with playful exercises that build strength, endurance, and coordination. This holistic movement session is perfect for people of all fitness levels and offers a complete workout experience in nature.
Please note: Classes are cancelled on December 23 & 30, 2025, and February 24, 2026
