Film Noir UK invites you to indulge in another weekend of danger, desire and despair with Film Noir Fest 2026. Set in the heart of Weston-super-Mare, Film Noir Fest is the UK's only film festival dedicated to showcasing the many aspects of film noir and classic crime films on the big screen!
Spread over the course of one weekend (30th October - 1st November), at Weston’s famous Plaza Cinema, Film Noir Fest gives audiences the option to see a wide selection of 20+ films on two separate cinema screens.
Film Noir Fest is presented in collaboration with BFI Audience Network, Merlin Cinemas and Film Noir UK.

We mix the light with the dark; the commercial with the alternative; the heavy with the radio-friendly; the rarely heard with the classics; the big hits with the forgotten misses; album tracks, classic instrumentals, B-sides, live versions and extended mixes....something for everyone!
Going Back To The Future, playing the roots of synth from the 70s, into the classic decade, and forwards through the 90s into the 21st century. Sounds from the older and the newer wave.....

We will meet up at a pub nearby first as the event at Komedia doesn't start til 10.30pm.

For those coming from outside Bath, you can get trains here from Bristol Temple Meads as well as from the Westbury direction. Buses to Bath are also on offer from Bristol Bus station and Broad Quay on the Harbourside (both bus/train stations are next to each other in Bath and are about 10 mins walk from the venue).

Buses run late/early morning back to Bristol bus station, sadly the trains don't.

Let's first meet at the West Gate pub on Westgate Street which is further down the road from where Komedia is (let's meet there from around 8.30pm).

I've been meaning to try this event out for a while, so come join me for a fun night out and get those dancing boots/shoes ready!
