Hosted By

Details
Were you aware that as battle raged in Europe, war-weary Bath opened its heart to famished civilians in a Nazi-occupied town of Alkmaar in the Netherlands? Chris Davies will explain the fascinating, and moving, origins that lead to Bath residents going above and beyond to help the people and children of occupied Alkmaar. Barrel organs will be mentioned!
The talk starts at 7.30 but we can meet just before in the downstairs hall if you RSVP.
Arrange your own tickets (£3-£6), available here: https://www.brlsi.org/whatson/how-war-torn-bath-opened-its-hearts-to-starving-dutch-children/
