Petanque: Queen Square, Bath

Details
Petanque is a game played with Boules. These are small, but heavy, metal balls. The object of the game is for your team to get as many of their Boules closer to the 'cochonet' (a small wooden ball painted orange) than the opposing team. A precise measurement is often required! It is a game that requires no previous experience or particular aptitude, suitable for all ages and abilities.
There is no charge for this event, but you must agree to abide by the rules set by the Organisers and only use the equipment provided. You must be able to attend for the full time. Also, please be aware that if the pitch is fully in use we may not be able to play.
The first game needs to start at 7pm when hopefully the first 8 players will have arrived. We will play a Knockout format (2 games each team).
PLAYERS ATTEND AT THEIR OWN RISK
