Berlin, 1942. A shy Hilde falls in love with Hans and gradually finds her place in the resistance group that would come to be known as the “Red Orchestra”. Together, they spend a beautiful summer where their relationship entwines with quiet acts of defiance. Inspired by an incredible true story set against the backdrop of a country torn by conflict, FROM HILDE, WITH LOVE is a powerful tale of love and resistance.

Little Shrew (Snowflake)
With striking black-and-white animation, Kate Bush's Little Shrew tells the story of a small Eurasian pygmy shrew, moving through a war-torn landscape that echoes today’s Ukraine. Accompanied by a new version of her song ‘Snowflake', this tiny, vulnerable creature's search for 'HOPE' speaks to the voicelessness of children in wartime: often overlooked, defenceless, and exposed to violence.

We will gather outside The Little Theatre at 6pm, ten minutes before the start of the film. If you are late arriving, we will see you inside the cinema or outside after the film.

There will be optional post-film drinks at The Raven pub five minutes walk from the cinema - if you would like to join us, please gather outside the cinema after the film and we will walk up there together.
