Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective - Case 6: The Devil's Ransom

Details

Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective is a collaborative game where players help Sherlock Holmes solve a murder mystery.

During this and the consecutive sessions, we will be solving cases from the Carlton House and Queen's Park collection.

The rules are very similar to the Mythos Tales we played before. But no previous experience is necessary, all people new to this type of game are welcome!

Let's meet outside The Raven at 11:00. If you come later, we'll be upstairs in the library.

HOUSE RULES:

  • Please, take space only if you're 100% sure you can make it (or edit your RSVP well in advance so someone can take up your spot).
  • This game has a very limited number of players to make sure everyone has a chance to actively participate in the investigation and enjoy the game!
  • In the couple of previous sessions, we had no-shows without a word of explanation (I understand that unexpected things happen in life, but just a short message would do). Because of that, people from the waiting list missed their opportunity to join the game. Therefore, I decided to blacklist those guilty of this behaviour and ban them from signing up for future sessions.

Description from the publisher:
Welcome to the Carlton House. Enjoy the luxury and solve the murders! How about a stroll in beautiful Queen's Park? Beware dogs and the occasional crime scene…
Return to the streets of Victorian London, but also venture into brand new locations in the latest installment in the Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective line: Carlton House & Queen's Park! Like the previously released The Thames Murders and Other Cases, Carlton House & Queen's Park introduces ten exciting cases, each one drawing players deep into the world of Sherlock Holmes. Among these cases includes two classic, long out-of-print expansions which are now revised and updated. Whether you're playing solo or with up to eight possible players, you need your wits about you to solve the cases and beat Holmes himself!
