Walk at Lehigh Gap Nature Center and Art Show

Greetings!

As this is a new group I am going to start with an easy walk/hike at the Lehigh Gap. All are welcome even if the invite says the hike is full, add your name in the Discussion area. 8844 Paint Mill Road, Slatington. Meet at Osprey House.

I thought to do the D&L trail and maybe circle back to the nature center on the Line Trail. Actual time will depend on participants and how far/long/pace folks want to go, estimating about 4 miles. All hikers are responsible for their own safety and should have appropriate footwear/clothing/poles/water for hiking.

The Lehigh Gap Nature Center, Osprey House, is also having a nature themed art show on the 22nd, 10 to 4, for anyone who might be interested in checking things out before or after the hike. There is an artists reception scheduled for 4pm. (Full disclosure, I have a couple of pieces of my pottery that will be on display.)

The free listing for this group on meetup restricts participants to 10 people. NOTE: Anyone can come. It also restricts us to 2 events per month. Anyone wanting company on other hikes/outings can mention them in the discussion section. Message me with any questions. I'm out of practice as an organizer!
