Welcome to Bath Record & Vinyl Open Decks Group! This Meetup is dedicated to bringing together vinyl records enthusiasts, DJ's and selectors! We aim to explore the community and connect with like minded individuals to showcase a love for vinyl and sweet sounds. Whether you're a seasoned DJ or just starting out, all technical levels are welcome to join us for a nights of socilaising, sharing music, and encouraging each other's creativity. Let's connect, learn, and appreciate the beauty of vinyl together in the beautiful city of Bath. You may just want to talk music rather than play a set of music and that is cool with us. if you are planning on using the decks here are some pointers:
Vinyl music lovers. Whether, you are starting out or your experienced DJ this is for you. The aim is to bring together vinyl music lovers together and share
Be creative: Show us your favourite mixes, scratch or simply play a record from start to finish: Use this time as an opportunity to showcase tracks that you may not play in other environments, and try out new things.
Be considerate: The slots are 20 minutes each, although you could go b2b. We want as many DJs to be able to play as possible
Be kind: Our open decks are for DJs in all stages of their journey, from pros to beginners. Be supportive of each other and be patient; if you see someone who needs a little extra encouragement, be compassionate. We want to build communities that are inclusive and give people space to grow and learn.
