Baton Rouge Film, TV, Theater & Music Industry Mee Message Board › Need nine more actors for feature

Need nine more actors for feature

Veleka G.

The Actors Alliance is producing another film, and, as always, the main roles go to students who are actively training.

We have almost enough actors for this project.  Only need a few more.

Here's the logline:

"A group of strangers with no friends or family decide to spend Thanksgiving weekend together in the Louisiana wilderness at a secluded cabin resort; when people start dying they soon realize one among them is a killer, but who?"

There are ten main characters and at least that many supporting characters.  Out of the ten there's one lead and two almost leads.  One of the two supporting roles is for a woman, other two are men.  They are in the middle of nowhere, having been driven there for a vacation, so they don't really know the way out.  Some people do try to leave, only to be killed off.

What joining this semester offers an aspiring actor is a chance to train with the most experienced coach in Louisiana, get training on the set as well as in class, and get film for your demo reel.

Classes start on Monday.

• Metairie - Monday evenings - 7 p.m. to 10, starting May 13
• Baton Rouge - Wednesday evenings - 7 p.m. to 10, starting May 15
• Mandeville - Thursday evenings - 7 p.m. to 10, starting May 16

Tuition is $275 with a $50 deposit paid in advance, or $300 at the door.  Actors age 14 and up may enroll.  Cost of your demo scene on DVD is an additional $100.

Call 504-812-3379 or e-mail for information on how you can get started today.
