We understand that sometimes plans change and we are fairly flexible with regards people dropping out of sessions they are signed up to, BUT we need to cover our costs and be fair to others on the waiting list who want to play.

If you dropout after 11AM on the day of the session we would expect you to still pay the £10 session fee as finding a replacement is not always possible. We believe this is quite reasonable and actually more accommodating than most clubs. Any no shows without even a message to me will result in an automatic ban. If you suspect there is a chance of you having covid please dropout of the session.

Normally we go to the Candlemaker pub afterwards. All attending the session are welcome to join. All new players should be aware that the first session they attend is essentially a trial week. We will tell you at the end of the first session if we believe the standard isn't right for you, but do everything we can in advance to ensure this is rarely an issue. Badminton standards are hard to describe as someone's idea of higher intermediate can be very different to someone else's. If it helps, most of our players play in the league
