Labor Day Volleyball/Beach Day @ Santa Cruz next to Boardwalk (drop by anytime)

Let's wrap up Labor Day weekend and hang out on the beach! Some other things we can do: walk up West Cliff towards Santa Cruz Light by Steamer Lane (surf spot), get cookies from Pacific Cookie Company if they're open, or play volleyball at the volleyball courts by the wharf (by the Boardwalk). Also, bring a snack/drink if you want to eat since places might be closed for Labor Day! For those of your new to NorCal - the beaches here can get quite chilly by sunset, so bring extra layers!!

Starting the event in the afternoon so we can avoid the long weekend rush in the morning, but feel free to come earlier and walk around downtown/explore the nearby area. PLEASE please please try to carpool - driving on the 17 is annoying, finding parking in Santa Cruz is difficult, and you also need to pay to park in a lot of places in Santa Cruz. I know it's difficult to coordinate, so I made https://groupcarpool.com/t/rejmds to get things started (this link is public, so try to avoid putting too much personal info).

Also keep in mind that reception near the coast is VERY SPOTTY, so try to know someone who knows someone else from this group so it's easier to find people.
