Last Tuesday Night Live Concert: Jive Machine (local band) @Santa Cruz Wharf

Details
Let's check out the last live concert of the live concert series at the Santa Cruz Wharf. Depending on the vibe, we can just hang out, walk around, or dance for a bit. After the concert, we'll walk around and grab food/snacks from a nearby venue.
NOTE that finding the group in large open events like this is tricky, so if you show up late/can't find us post a comment including where you are and what you're wearing/how we can find you, and we'll come and get you if you arrive by 6:10. You can also hang out and and enjoy the music by yourself, since there's lots of people and (usually) food and drinks - feel free to walk around and mingle with others. You're also free to bring however many people you want - this is an outdoor event with no hard capacity, but Meetup limits the guest options. You've been warned, if you arrive late, it will be VERY hard to find us after.
Also keep in mind Santa Cruz is a bit of a drive from the Bay Area, so you probably need to leave before 4:30 at the latest if you aren't already in Santa Cruz to avoid getting stuck in traffic. This will also be right next to the water, so keep a jacket because you will get chilly!

From Jive Machine's Bio section:
Jive Machine habitually bends the rules, blurs the lines, and stretches musical boundaries. Their music takes listeners on a sonic rollercoaster that fuses elements of old-school funk, progressive rock, blues, and soul. Throughout their set, you can hear diverse influences such as The Meters, Jimi Hendrix, and Trombone Shorty. Jive Machine is uniquely able to incorporate new ideas while paying homage to the great artists who came before them. The band is defined by a strong rhythmic foundation, infectious melodies, tasteful lead guitar virtuosity, and crisp horn lines. Recently, Jive Machine has become notorious for their "pop-up" performances in downtown Santa Cruz. These events always erupt into a massive dance party, and within moments, you'll see It's impossible not to be captivated by the talent and energy of their live shows!
