November beaver supermoon (full moon) walk @ Alviso
Details
The full moon is at 5:19 am Wednesday, which is a bit early.... so let's meet Tuesday night at Alviso for a walk.. Moonrise is at 4:23 pm, so the moon should already be up by the time we meet. A supermoon is when the moon is very close to the Earth, so this should be a good night! I'll be there early so if anyone wants to come earlier and hang out, that works too - scheduling this for 6:30 to give people time to arrive after work.
This will be a nice change it up from our typical Mission Peak full moon hike and much more approachable, as this is very flat and definitely not as strenuous. (We'd also need to start around 2:30 pm to make it to the summit in time, which is impractical for most people on a Tuesday.)
There's plenty of street parking around the area, so you can park there. There is also a parking lot, but it might close around sunset so be careful if you park there.
