The holidays are coming, have you thought of visiting each cities' holiday light shows with a group, see the colors and crowd, enjoy the **holiday vibe**, and marvel at **the magnificence of life**?

Yeah, you get it. It would be **fun, and great memories**. We are planning to organize such holiday lights tour of prominent city lights shows, at least for south bay, and if we can get enough hands to help, across bay as well.

We are organizing a series of hosts recruiting and meet sessions across bay area in the next few weeks, if you are interested in such a program, or are brave enough to help, welcome to attend one close to you. **Come with your holiday lights or program recommendations**. No, you don't need to be a bay area veteran to be a host, perfect chance to meet some other warm hearted people, make friends, and work on a community project **together. Social and fun**.

Menlo Park would be our first session stop, each would start with an optional volunteering social session, then followed with a group lunch/dinner meeting. Here is the schedule:

* Nov 22 Menlo Park Bedwell BayFront Park, with **SaveTheBay**
* Nov 29 SF World Tree of Hope, **Grace Cathedra**l
* Dec 6 am Hayward Eden Landing, **SaveTheBay**
* Dec 6 pm Campbell Carol of Light, **Downtown Association**

The city lights/holiday program we have in mind, to be completed:

* Carol of Light, Campbell
* German Christmas Market, Mountain View
* Christmas in the Park, San Jose

For the Menlo Park session, to start with the morning volunteering at 9:30am, [please register at here](https://www.meetup.com/social-volunteering-crew-community-events/events/312013305/). Otherwise we would go group lunch after that at the Marsh Manor shopping center, RedWood city, most probably with the Freewheel brewing company, around 1-1:30pm. Because SaveTheBay has extended the volunteering to end around 1:30pm, getting to the restaurant at 1:30pm is a safer choice.
