Community Gym Day: Lifting Workshop and Kickboxing

Let's conquer some fitness goals together this year!
If you're looking for new gym buddies and some coach-led group workouts and workshops, you're in the right place. This has been my home gym since I moved to San Jose several months ago, and I’m so excited to share it with you all! We'll have something for everyone--whether you're stepping into the gym for the first time, a ClassPass regular looking for more of a challenge, or just looking to brush up on form.
The afternoon starts with a quick kickboxing sesh (bring gloves if you have them!) with Coach Paul. Coach Nate will lead UFC's signature Daily Ultimate Training workout as an alternative for those who'd like a more circuit-style session. We'll grab smoothies, talk gym etiquette, and answer everyone's burning questions in a safe and enclosed space (no judgment!). We'll then split off into smaller groups to tackle squat, bench, and deadlift form with Coach Danica and Coach Hoan.
We'll end with stretches led by Coach Ashley, new friends, and a newfound confidence navigating the gym!
Agenda:
1 - 1:15 PM: Check-In, Intros, and Waivers
1:15 - 1:30 PM: Warmup
1:30 - 2 PM: Kickboxing** or Daily Ultimate Training (DUT)
2 - 2:30 PM: Gym Etiquette and Community Q&A Session + Smoothies
2:30 - 3:30 PM: Squat, Bench, and Deadlift Stations with UFC Fit Coaches
3:30 - 4 PM: Guided Stretch
4 - 4:30 PM: Mix and Mingle
Feel free to come for all of it or some of it!
** If you have boxing gloves and wraps, please bring them! The gym will have some loaners on hand, but plan on joining the Daily Ultimate Training session if no gloves are available.
