Course
You can check out the route we'll be taking on AllTrails or Komoot and download the Almaden Quicksilver PDF Park Map. The hiking paths we take will add up to less than 10 miles in length with around 1500 feet of total elevation gain. It is each hiker's responsibility to ensure they are in good health and physical fitness. Depending on how the group feels, we may grab food in town after the hike.

Trailhead Parking
We will be parking at the Almaden Quicksilver Wood Road Parking Lot and meeting at the Wood Road trailhead (Google Maps, Apple Maps). Parking is limited but, if the Wood Road lot fills up, there is additional parking and restrooms in the lot across the intersection (Google Maps, Apple Maps).

Equipment
I encourage attendees to download and/or print the PDF park maps and sync the GPS routes to your smart device(s) ahead of the hike.

Wear comfortable hiking/trail shoes, clothing and sun protection appropriate for the exertion and weather.

Bring adequate water and/or snacks to stay hydrated and fueled during the hike.

Cancellation
Hike will be cancelled if there is heavy rain or other unsafe conditions.
