Feel spring in the air, see the wild flowers bloom on the road side after the rain?
Our volunteers & friends are going coastal again, the coming next Sat., this time to Shark Fin Cove of Davenport, a coastal town to the north of Santa Cruz, along highway 1.

Just as the pic show above, shark fin cove is a good photopic place. As last time, we will show you how to do tide pool foraging, harvest some mussels along the way.
It so happens that we saw wild mustard flower at peak bloom last time we were there, hopefully they do that again after the recent rain. We also hear people's wish for some more beach social time beyond foraging. So if the weather is nice, we would explore driving further north, to several iconic sites along the coast -- Pigeon Point Lighthouse, Pescadero Beach. Maybe even a group dinner in the old Pescadero town. Let's see.

We will meet at the trail head sharp, then clime down to the beaches. If you plan to harvest mussels etc., you need to buy CA sport fishing license from:
https://wildlife.ca.gov/Licensing/Fishing
No tools are allowed to harvest mussels, water resistant garden gloves would do.
