Details
Let's get away from the suburban bustle of Silicon Valley and hike Portola Redwoods State Park! We'll be meandering on trails along creeks where moisture-loving coast redwoods stand tall among thick ferns and redwood sorrel.
RSVP Cancellations
Attendees are asked to cancel by 12pm PT (noon) Saturday (11/14) to allow enough time for folk on the wait list to prepare for the hike. Attendees who cancel after that will be marked as "no-show".
Hiking Route
Check out the route on AllTrails or Komoot. You can view the overall Portola Redwoods State Park map PDF (scroll down to page 5 for the map). The hiking paths we take will add up to roughly 12 miles in length with around 2,500 feet of total elevation gain. Depending on how the group feels, we may grab food in town after the hike.
