The Healthcare IT landscape is dominated by big players, lower technology, bureaucratic purchase approvals and complex workflows. Elaborate regulations and compliance requirements require large development costs to compete with the established companies. The advent of AI and industry standards for data storage and exchange (like FHIR) promise to bring a refreshing change to this scenario with more cost effective products and fresh new approaches. AI and standards are also expected to engender more healthy competition and innovation. We are hoping to participate in this changed environment with an AI native software product aimed at small to medium sized clinical environments.

FHIR standard EHR product will bring state of the art IT to managing patient and healthcare data. With AI, the co-ordination of care within and outside the organization will drastically improve. In this talk, I will elaborate on how AI will increase productivity of healthcare professionals and safety and prompt care for patients, effecting more positive clinical outcomes.
