Bay Area Aromantics

Aromantic people experience little or no romantic attraction. We lead lives rich with love in friendship, family, and community, building fulfilling lives through the people and bonds that matter most to each of us. In a world that sometimes mistakes the absence of romantic attraction for an absence of love, we are proud to live authentically and celebrate the many ways people can love, connect, and belong.

Welcome to the San Francisco Bay Area Aromantic Meetup Group! This group is for individuals who identify as on the aromantic spectrum and are interested in meeting like-minded people in the Bay Area and arofolk friends and allies

Come and make friends with others who get it, discuss aromantic experiences or just hangout. Reddit has been a great support for us, and IRL is even better.

Join us for social meetups, events, and online discussions at our Discord server centered around building community for folks on the aromantic spectrum in the Bay Area. You can for conversation (If you have never used Discord, it is a bit annoying to setup, and works well once you have it.) Friends of aromantics are welcome.

Never feel obligated to give to participate: most of all we want your energy and presence. If you do choose to give, do not give beyond what is comfortable for you and your budget.
