Have an idea for a comic, graphic novel, board game, card game, RPG, or creative project?

Or maybe you’ve always wanted to make something but didn’t know where to start.

This is a weekly creative workshop for people who want to build ideas, develop projects, and create alongside other artists, writers, and game designers in a supportive, structured environment.

You don’t need experience.

You just need curiosity.

What We’ll Do

Every Wednesday we’ll work through the creative process together.

Creative Warm-Up
We’ll start with prompts, brainstorming, sketching, storytelling, and idea generation to get inspired—without the pressure to immediately make something.

Community Project
Together we’ll create a collaborative comic, board game, zine, or other creative project. We’ll learn by making something as a team while exploring different parts of the creative process.

Personal Studio Time
The second half of the evening is dedicated to your own project. I’ll facilitate discussions, answer questions, help brainstorm ideas, offer feedback, and guide everyone through the next steps in their creative process.

Throughout the month we’ll explore topics like:

Bring your sketchbook, notebook, laptop, tablet, pencils, or whatever you enjoy creating with.

I’ll bring extra paper.

Feel free to bring a store-bought, prepackaged snack or drink to share.

Looking for a Host

We’re looking for a quiet, welcoming home in Berkeley where a small group can gather every Wednesday evening.

If you have a living room, dining room, studio, or other comfortable space and would enjoy hosting, I’d love to hear from you.

Cost

$50 per month
(One month = four Wednesday workshops.)
