hack the BART strike

Let's get together and visualize some data about the BART strike!

A few friends have compiled several data sets around the BART system including salary data for every BART employee, historical wage increases, other transit systems and other contextual data:

We have started some visualization prototypes, but there is a ton that can still be done to help make sense of this situation. Many of us depend on the BART everyday, and we actually have the data to figure out the story, we just need to tell it.

Anyone is welcome, we want people to help make sense of the data, manipulate the data and visualize the data!

The evening will be all about hacking together visualizations, so we won't have speakers lined up. There will be many people knowledgable in d3 as well as transit/civic data so it should be an interesting night.
