MAIN PRESENTATION - Mike Linett, Zerowait Corporation
For over 21 years Zerowait has been building its ERP system in FileMaker and optimizing servers and VMs to provide the performance and reliability needed to provide uninterrupted service and support to customers.

Due to Broadcom hiking VMware prices, many of Zerowait's customers are migrating from VMware to Proxmox VE — the free, open-source virtualization platform offering enterprise features with no mandatory licensing fees, better scalability, and strong community support. As FileMaker users themselves, Zerowait decided to help those in the FileMaker community who want to escape the VMware lock-in. You could do this on your own, but Zerowait makes the switch easy, low-risk, and affordable, minimizing downtime, backed by experienced engineers, robust systems, and a hands-on authorized Proxmox reseller.

Zerowait will also introduce their SimplStor Performance Energized (PE) line of servers, optimized for FileMaker Server. Pair Proxmox VE with SimplStor-PE, and you have a ZFS-based appliance with snapshots, replication, deduplication, encryption that accelerates FileMaker tasks up to 3x faster: e.g., a script that normally took 317 seconds dropped to 102 seconds in real tests with production data. Their presentation will focus on how to help organizations cut virtualization costs and increase FileMaker resilience and performance with a combination of Proxmox VE, ZFS, and SimplStor Performance Energized Servers.
