We need your help!
We’re currently arranging the details for the Bay Area Ghost Hunters holiday meetup, but there is one variable we need to better project to finish the job. How many people are going to be there?
In the past, members have said this one is their favorite of the year. Details we have definitely finalized are:
When: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, December 13
Where: Hayes Mansion, San Jose
Special speaker: Parapsychologist Loyd Auerbach
A door-prize raffle
An RSVP fee of around $40 (give or take $5)
Since our last holiday meetup in 2019, the Hayes Mansion became a part of the Hilton hotel chain. Its restaurant has been renamed Palm & Ember and that section of the building has been reconfigured. The bar can be found at the restaurant entrance and it now has a banquet room with limited seating that can be closed off. It no longer regularly offers a buffet brunch on Saturdays, but it remains open during the afternoon.
Our biggest variable is how many people will be attending? We don’t want to put a limit on attendance with that banquet room, but if our number doesn’t surpass it, we want to make it easier for the staff. Having a better idea of our attendance will give us more confidence on what food to order, how much space we will need and a firm number on how much money we’ll need to cover the expenses.

This post will not be a commitment for either the member or BAGH at this point. Once we have a better idea how many will be joining us, this post will be removed and replaced with an updated one for payment.
