GenAI Learnathon: Enrich Data Analytics with GenAI - Onsite in Mountain View, CA

Learn how to enrich data analytics with GenAI without writing a line of code.

During this event, we will explore a fraud detection use case and we will exploit the multi-language capabilities of GenAI to automatically generate custom alert messages.

During this hands-on workshop you will get familiar with the free low-code tool KNIME Analytics Platform, techniques for fraud detection, and the use of GenAI via the KNIME AI Extension (Labs).

Completely new to KNIME? We’ve got you covered! We will start with an introduction to KNIME Analytics Platform, making it easy to follow along even for newbies!

Without any coding experience you will learn to:

• Detect frauds in investment contracts visually and using statistical techniques
• Prompt engineer an LLM via the OpenAI integration
• Create a vector store from a corpus of different types of investment contracts (the knowledge base)
• Build and deploy a data app to display email alerts and make it available to authenticated users on a web browser

Other KNIME AI integrations we will discuss include GPT4All, Hugging Face, Chroma, FAISS and more.

Please come prepared and bring your laptop with KNIME Analytics Platform and the KNIME AI Extension (Labs) already installed.

Meet the speakers:

Sameer Bhatnagar - Sameer has an illustrious career spanning several decades and multiple countries. He is a successful entrepreneur who has co-founded several startups in India and founded a software engineering company in the US. Sameer's unique expertise lies in his ability to craft robust data strategies for top-notch products and services. He holds an Engineering Degree and Advanced certifications in cutting-edge technologies, including Cloud, Big Data, Machine Learning, and AI. Sameer is widely recognized for his exceptional contributions and technical prowess, with accolades from Google, LinkedIn, WellFargo Bank, Sun Microsystems, and Juniper Networks. He continues to significantly impact the industry as a Consultative AI/ML & Cloud Subject Matter Expert through his company, Datamnd.Com. His innovative ideas and solutions in Data Science and AI/ML were further showcased when he spoke at various forums, including KNIME Summits.

Rosaria Silipo - Dr. Rosaria Silipo is not only an expert in data mining, machine learning, reporting, and data warehousing, she has become a recognized expert on the KNIME data mining engine, about which she has published three books: KNIME Beginner’s Luck, The KNIME Cookbook, and The KNIME Booklet for SAS Users. Previously Dr. Silipo worked as a freelance data analyst for many companies throughout Europe. She has also led the SAS development group at Viseca (Zürich), implemented the speech-to-text and text-to-speech interfaces in C# at Spoken Translation (Berkeley, California), and developed a number of speech recognition engines in different languages at Nuance Communications (Menlo Park, California). Dr. Silipo gained her doctorate in biomedical engineering in 1996 from the University of Florence, Italy.
