🎸 Dutch Uncle plays "Rock the Dock" at the Port of Redwood City! 🎶💃🕺

10/10: Hi, glad to see you’ve signed up for Dutch Uncle tomorrow!

As of now, we have 18 people signed up. Since this is a popular band, space will start filling up early. It would be great if a few of you could arrive around 2:45 so we can stake out our spot.

We're usually a few feet from the food truck. Look for green streamers. I'll post a picture of our location tomorrow.

Dutch Uncle is a Bay Area favorite, known for bringing the best of the 1970s back to life with classic rock and R&B that gets everyone moving. From The Eagles, Jackson Browne, Bob Seger, and Tom Petty to their own groovy originals, they deliver a feel-good, high-energy show that keeps the dance floor alive. Their music is pure nostalgia meets nonstop fun—perfect for an afternoon in this gorgeous spot by the Bay. 🌊✨

📍 EVENT DETAILS
· Arrival Time: 3:00 PM – come early to claim a spot and help hold space for the group.
· Show Time: 3:30-6:00 PM
· Location: Port of Redwood City – our group gathers to the left of the stage, just behind the twin palm trees near the food truck.
· Look for: A pole with green streamers. Raj will be wearing a colorful bead necklace.

🧺 WHAT TO BRING

• A chair for yourself (we have extras if you need one)
• Food and drinks (for yourself or to share!)
• Sun protection & a jacket (it's the SF Bay - weather varies)

Check out the Port's Rock the Dock concert series web page, including info on each week's band: here. All concerts take place on Saturdays, year-round. As the weather cools and Daylight Savings ends, they move indoors to St. James Gate in Belmont and play 2:30-5:30 pm.

🅿️ PARKING

• Main Lot: The Port’s main parking lot fills quickly—especially for popular bands like Dutch Uncle.
• Overflow Lot: If the main lot is full, use the overflow lot just east of the main entrance on Seaport Blvd.
• How to Enter: Instead of turning left into the main lot, make a soft diagonal left just before the median (yes, it feels like you’re heading toward oncoming traffic!) and go through the gate.
• Walking Route: After parking, walk back out to Seaport Blvd to get to the dock.
