🌊✨ NB Monthly Night Out: Water Lantern Festival in Foster City! ✨🌊 🎵

🌊✨Join us for a magical evening of connection, picnic fun, and hundreds of glowing lanterns lighting up the lagoon. 🎶🧺💡 Our group meetup begins at 5:00 PM—come earlier at 4:00 to enjoy food trucks, live music, and festival vibes!

📍 Leo J. Ryan Park, Foster City

As the sun sets, hundreds of glowing lanterns—carrying messages of hope, love, and remembrance—will float across the lagoon, creating a breathtaking display of light.

🕓 Schedule

• 4:00 PM – Festival gates open, food trucks & live music begin
• 5:00 PM – Meetup starts (our group will gather on the grass area to the right of the amphitheater, when you are facing the stage)
• 6:30 PM – Lantern decorating
• 7:00–7:30 PM – Lantern launch

👉 Feel free to arrive early to explore, grab food, and enjoy the atmosphere.

• Purchase General Admission ticket for one or Group Deal with 3 friends + you (minimum of 4 people) and save an additional 20%.
• Ticket includes a DIY Lantern Kit!

🌿 Not buying tickets? No problem! Join us for a picnic on the grass and enjoy the beauty of the evening as the lanterns light up the lagoon.

• Look for our sparkly green streamers in the grass area to the right of the amphitheater (when facing the stage)
• Please sign in with the hosts (or text when you arrive) so we know you’re with us!

• Blanket or picnic mat
• Warm layers (it can get chilly at night)
• Snacks/food & drinks to share or enjoy

• Portable chairs (optional)

🅿️ PARKING:
We highly recommend carpooling. Open lots: Foster City Rec Center, City Hall, and Library Community Center. There is scattered street parking, but be prepared to walk a bit. There is no event parking in The Marketplace (Safeway/CVS) parking lot and Costco's lot is likely to be closed.
